How to send listings to portals with an XML feed

Publish your listings as a Kyero-format or Estate CRM XML feed that portals and partner agencies read automatically, and control what goes in.

An XML feed is a web address that always holds your current listings. You give the address to a portal or a partner agency once, and they read it on their own schedule: new listings appear, price changes follow and sold listings disappear, without anyone re-typing them.

XML feeds are part of the Professional and Enterprise plans. Owners and managers set them up.

Which feeds are available?

• Kyero-format XML feed: the Kyero v3 format, which Kyero and many overseas portals import. Check with each portal that it accepts “Kyero format”. It carries listings for sale and long-term rentals. Nightly rentals and listings without a price are left out.
• Estate CRM XML feed: everything public about each listing, in English and Greek. Useful for partner agencies or a custom website.

Other portals on the page are marked Coming — needs the portal’s spec and can’t be switched on yet. Until then, you can still receive their enquiries automatically: see portal leads by e-mail.

How do I switch on a feed?

1. In the sidebar, under Admin, open Website & portals.
2. Turn on the switch next to the feed. If it shows Upgrade to use, your plan doesn’t include feeds.
3. Copy the address that appears with the copy button and give it to the portal. Below it you’ll see when the feed was last fetched, so you know the portal is reading it.

How do I choose which listings go in?

Each listing decides for itself. Open the listing, go to Publish to and tick the feed. Only listings that are Available go out. Drafts, reserved, sold and withdrawn listings drop off automatically. The card on Website & portals shows how many listings each feed publishes.

The feed shows the same public information as your share pages: photos, description, features, price and an approximate location, never internal notes or the owner’s details. Changes appear within about five minutes.

What if the address gets into the wrong hands?

The address contains a secret code, so only people who have it can read the feed. To change it, click Reset feed URL next to the address. The old address stops working at once, so give the new one to every portal that uses it.

To stop a feed completely, turn its switch off.

To show listings on your own website instead, use the website API or the WordPress plugin.
