How to show new-build projects on your agency website
Show your new-build projects and their live unit availability on your agency website with the WordPress plugin, the website API or a simple link.
A development sells better when your website always shows what is still available. Estate CRM can put your projects on your own site, with prices and availability that update themselves whenever you change a unit. This article covers three ways to do it, from the simplest to the most flexible.
You need a plan that includes new-build projects and the website API (Professional or Enterprise).
Step 1: publish the project
Only published projects appear on your website. Open the project, and on the Overview tab turn on Publish on website in the Website card. Draft and withdrawn units are never shown. Sold units show as sold without a price, and internal notes are never shown.
Option 1: link to the availability page
The simplest way: copy the link shown under Publish on website and add it to your website as a button or menu item, for example “Availability & prices”. It opens the project’s public page with photos, the availability table and the price list PDF. See price list and availability page.
Option 2: the WordPress plugin
If your website runs on WordPress, install the Estate CRM plugin and connect it with an API key. Then add a shortcode to any page:
[estatecrm_projects]shows a card for each published project: cover photo, name, area, how many units are available, a sold bar and the price range. Addlink="/projects/{ref}/"to make each card open that address, where{ref}becomes the project’s reference.[estatecrm_project ref="PRJ-12"]shows one project’s live availability, with a table per block. Use the Reference shown on the project’s Overview tab. Options:show="available"hides sold, rented and reserved units, title="no"hides the project name,price_list="no"hides the price list link, andlang="en"orlang="el"sets the language.
Option 3: the website API for your web developer
If your site is custom-built, your developer can read your published projects — the list, and each project with its blocks and units — through the Estate CRM website API, in English or Greek.
To create a key (owners and managers):
- Go to Website & portals in the sidebar.
- Under Website API keys, enter a name such as “Main website” and click Create key.
- Copy the key straight away — it is shown only once — and give it to your developer.
Besides the listing calls shown under API quick reference on the same page, the API has /projects (your published projects) and /projects/{ref} (one project with its blocks and units). Both accept lang=en or lang=el.
The key belongs on your website’s server, never in code that runs in the visitor’s browser. More in the website API.
