How to cancel your subscription and close your account
Cancel your Estate CRM subscription, export your data first, and see when your agency's listings, contacts and files are deleted for good.
This article explains how to stop using Estate CRM: how to cancel your subscription, how to keep a copy of your data, and when your agency’s data is deleted. Only the agency owner can do this.
Step 1: Export your data
Before anything else, download a full copy of your listings, contacts, deals and history. Go to Admin → Billing → Export all data. See Export your data. You can still export after your subscription ends, until the data is deleted.
Step 2: Cancel the subscription
- Paying online: open Admin → Billing and press Manage billing. On Stripe’s billing page, choose to cancel. The billing page then shows Cancelled — your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
- On a free trial: you don’t need to do anything. If you don’t choose a plan, your access ends when the trial ends.
- If there is no Manage billing button — for example, your subscription was set up by us or you are on a complimentary account — contact us and we will cancel it.
There is no separate “delete account” button: an agency is closed by letting its subscription or trial end.
What happens when access ends?
The workspace locks. The owner sees Choose a plan, and other users are asked to contact the owner. Nobody can work in it, but your data is kept for 30 days in case you change your mind.
- About a week before deletion, the owners get an e-mail with the date. The locked screen and the billing page show it too.
- 30 days after access ends, your agency is deleted for good: listings, photos, contacts, requirements, deals, activities, documents and all user accounts. This cannot be undone.
- Choosing a plan before that date stops the clock, and you pick up exactly where you left off.
What if only one person is leaving?
You don’t need to close the account. Go to Team, open the actions for that person and press Deactivate. They can no longer sign in, and they stop counting as a billed user. Their listings, contacts and history stay with the agency.
